Terms & Conditions
These terms explain how ordering from willowanddarcie.co.uk works — for ready-made items, custom bedazzling and items you send to us. They are written to be easy to read, and nothing here takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

About us
Willow & Darcie's Bedazzle Business is a small handmade business. Willow and Darcie design and make the products. The website, customer communications, orders and payments are managed by a parent/guardian, who is responsible for the sale and is your point of contact throughout.
To confirm later: any business registration, trading name or contact address details will be added here once they are confirmed. None are claimed at present.
Our products
Almost everything we sell is handmade and decorated individually by hand. That means small variations in rhinestone placement, colour, pattern and finish can occur between items, and between an item and its photograph. These variations are a normal part of handmade work rather than a fault.
Photographs and screen colours can also differ slightly from the item you receive. If something matters a lot to you — an exact shade, for example — please ask us before ordering.
Ready-made orders
Ready-made items can be ordered at the price shown on the website when they are available. Because pieces are made in very small numbers, an item may sell out or become unavailable. If we cannot supply something you have ordered, we will contact you and arrange a refund or an alternative.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed once we confirm we can fulfil it.
Custom orders
Custom bedazzle requests are subject to approval. Submitting the custom request form is a request, not an accepted order — it does not automatically create a contract or oblige us to make anything.
Before any work begins, we will discuss and confirm with you:
- the design and the item it will be applied to
- whether the item and materials are suitable
- a realistic timescale
- the price
Work only starts once you have confirmed the details and any agreed payment arrangement is in place. We may decline a request — for example if the design isn't suitable, isn't something we can do well, or isn't appropriate.
Items you supply to us
If you would like us to bedazzle an item you already own, please read this section carefully.
- Not every material or surface is suitable. Some finishes, fabrics, coatings and shapes don't hold decoration well.
- Your item must be inspected and approved before we accept the work. We may ask for photographs first, and we may decline if it isn't suitable.
- Please tell us about existing damage, wear or defects before sending or handing over an item.
- Decoration is usually permanent. Adhesives, rhinestones and other decoration are normally attached in a way that cannot be undone without leaving marks or changing the item.
- We will take reasonable care of anything you leave with us and handle it responsibly.
- Please do not send a high-value, irreplaceable or sentimental item unless we have specifically discussed and agreed it in advance.
- Any specific risks will be discussed with you before work begins, so you can decide whether to go ahead.
Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for damage caused by our own lack of reasonable care and skill, or excludes any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To confirm later: arrangements for sending in, handing over and returning customer-supplied items (including who pays postage and how items are packaged) will be added here once decided.
Personalisation
Where an item is personalised, please check your spelling carefully — names, initials and wording are made exactly as you provide them. We will normally confirm the wording back to you before starting, but it is your responsibility to check it is right.
We may decline personalisation that is offensive, unlawful, or that appears to use someone else's trade mark or copyright without permission.
Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise. We try to keep prices and product information accurate; if an obvious pricing error occurs we will contact you before processing the order rather than simply charging the wrong amount.
For custom work, the price is agreed with you before the work is accepted, and any delivery cost is confirmed before you pay.
Payments
The payment methods available to you will be shown during checkout, or agreed with you directly for custom work. Payment is taken through the method shown at the time — we do not store card details on this website.
To confirm later: online card and wallet payments are not yet connected. Until they are, the payment method for each order is confirmed by email with the parent/guardian who manages the business.
Cancelling an order
Ready-made items. For most standard items bought online, UK consumer law gives you a period in which you can change your mind and cancel, starting when you place the order and normally ending 14 days after you receive the goods. You then have a further period to return them. Full details are in our Delivery & Returns policy.
Personalised and custom-made items. Once we have begun making or personalising goods to your specification, cancellation and return rights can be different from standard ready-made goods, to the extent permitted by law. We will always tell you before work begins, and if you contact us early we will do what we reasonably can to help.
These differences never apply where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
Faulty or incorrect goods
Nothing in these terms removes or reduces your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something you receive is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, contact us at info@willowanddarcie.co.uk and we will look into it and put it right in line with your legal rights.
Please note that normal wear over time, and damage caused by accident, misuse or not following any care guidance provided, is not the same as a fault.
Children's safety and suitability
Decorated items can include small parts such as rhinestones. Please use common sense about who an item is suitable for, and keep decorated items away from very young children.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on the website at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring a claim in the courts of the UK nation where you live.
